The design is cut by hand into the silver sheet, and what is left standing is the jewel.
Piercing is an operation of subtraction: everything that is not the design is cut away, and what remains holds itself up. A mistake is not corrected — you start again from the sheet.
Of the seven operations that can be recognised in the workshop's photographs, six do not yet have a name written down anywhere.

The body is silver. Over it, an 18K gold plating: yellow, rose or white. The workshop has photographed every piece in all three.
The price is the same, because the body is the same.
The catalogue is what the workshop has already made. But a made-to-measure jewel always begins somewhere else: a date, a place, a person, a story only you know.
