The house writes that it opened its workshop in 1979, and names Mauro Pacella as the master goldsmith who founded it. It also writes that Pierluigi Pacella, his son, works at the bench today.
None of these three sentences yet rests on a document the house has shown us. We report them because they are its own word about itself, and we flag them as such until they are.
We do not know. Nor do we know why the workshop opened in 1979 of all years, what the first commission was, or whether a piece from that year still exists.
